Just an update. So yeah he is really really stupid. This story is just yet further weight to the argument that people should have to apply for some approval to spawn.

The end of the story :

Here's the question: Why did they need to make the law in the first place?

I suppose I could just search for the answer on google, but I'm not sure I really want to know...

There is a Yakov Smirnov  "In soviet Russia ..." joke in there somewhere, I am jsut to tired to see it.

Also i'm surprised we don't get more stories like this from college campuses.

Yeah, when you think about it, it's really self-enforcing, isn't it?

"Hey, let's air new episodes in the middle of reruns without telling anyone beforehand!"  Apparently, the Haruhi people are not yet done with extremely weird shit in their airing schedules.

Why are they bitching about this now?  I remember reading the SomethingAwful review back in 2007.

CNN did a big "expose" on the game last week, apparently totally missing the uproar over it last year. I personally like a manga creators response to the article http://kotaku.com/5509703/manga-creator-blasts-cnn-for-being-offensive-and-insulting (links to kotakus article on it, it has subsequent links to the CNN article and the full authors letter at the bottom)
