-Inuyasha IS over!- (OVA's and/or a second TV series has not been confirmed as of yet!*)

*Read question #67b

Frequently Asked Questions:

***

1a. Since the anime has ended, where should I start reading in the manga?

I suggest starting at chapter 352, which is, "Ogre's Rock". This is when the Inuyasha Gang was inside (in the stomach) of that rock demon. It's the part where Inuyasha used the Shikon No Tama and placed it in Tessaiga so that they can get out of there before they died.. (along with that cute fluff moment between Inuyasha and Kagome! :3) If you're wondering where to get it, plus the newest chapters, look at question #5.

1b. How many episodes does Inuyasha have, and what is the most recent manga chapter?

The anime as of February 27th has a TOTAL 167 episodes [167 AIRED] - Complete (for now); and all the episodes have indeed been subbed (in english). The manga is up to Chapter 398 - 鉄砕牙の暴発 // "Tessaiga no Bouhatsu".

2. How many movies does it have?

There are a total of four movies currently. A fifth one is rumored to be released December of 2005.

First Movie:
Inuyasha - Toki o Koeru Omoi
Inuyasha - Love that Transcends Time
Inuyasha - Affections Touching Across Time.
Running time: 1:39:43

Second Movie:
Inuyasha - Kagami no Naka no Mugenjou
Inuyasha - The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass
Running time: 1:39:13

Third Movie:
Inuyasha - Tenka Hadou no Ken
Inuyasha - The Sword of World Domination
Inuyasha - The Sword of World Conquest
Inuyasha - Swords of an Honorable Ruler
Running time: 1:39:00

Fourth Movie:
Inuyasha - Guren no Hourai-jima
Inuyasha - Crimson Hourai Island
Inuyasha - Fire on the Mystic Island
Inuyasha - The Flaming Red Hourai Island

The first movie, second movie, and third movie are available to download; the first three to buy.. You can download the second and third at AK, the first movie you'll have to search around for a little. The fourth movie will be buyable around August of 2005, and rentable in June.

11. What is the name of the sword that Inuyasha carries?

Refer to this thread: http://www.anime-kraze.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=584

12. What does the name 'Inuyasha' mean exactly?

Although there were a few rumors that Inuyasha means "demon girl", the name actually means "dog demon" although it has several more meanings of the same root. That's the way it goes in Kanji.

13. Is Sesshomaru gay/transvestite?

No. His type of character frequently seen in anime is called a bishounen or "pretty boy" and while he appears a bit feminine, he is still very recognizably male. He's there to be an idealized version of a man for girls.

14. Why are there so many flashbacks in Inuyasha?

Its done to save the budget. Action scenes that require a ton of action take a very long time to make by hand (most anime is still done by hand) and so they are done with stills. Having a few minutes of flashbacks saves Sunrise several thousand. Also, the show airs once per week in Japan and while all these flashbacks may be annoying when the show airs 4 times per week, it is necessary for a once per week audience who needs constant reminders of what happened so far in the series.

15. What's with the makeup on the demon's faces?

It's a part of their face. They serve as warnings to other demons like poisonous frogs are brightly colored.

16. Why is the blood in Inuyasha drawn so dark?

Vast quantities of blood oxidize and become dark burgundy. If you ever see over 500 mg of human blood, you'll see how dark it can be, nearly black.

17. Why is Kagome so shy/such a pushover/crybaby?

As bad as it may sound, in Japan women are expected to act this way. It would be odd for a 15 year old schoolgirl to act like a seasoned general. Japanese girls in real life behave a lot like Kagome and her friends so her character looks odd to Westerners, but to the Japanese it's right on.

18. How was Inuyasha created, and who is the creator?

Inuyasha came from a doodle by Rumiko Tahakashi. She thought he looked good and started working on a story about him or so I've read somewhere.

19. What's with Inuyasha's ears?

His ears are more feline then canine, but I think Tahakashi just wanted him to look more attractive to girls with cat ears. He's still supposed to be the son of a dog demon. Note the fangs, claws and a great sense of smell.

20. How old are the (main) characters?

Inuyasha: 15-17 (the 50 years on the tree do not count).
Kagome: 15
Miroku: 19
Sango: 16
Shippou: 8
Sesshomaru: Over 100.
Naraku: Around 85 w/ Onigumo's age factored in.
Kaede: Around 65.
Kikyou: Around 20.

21. What are the names of Inuyasha's parents?

His mothers name is Izayoi and his fathers name is Toga although he is often referred to as "Inu-Taisho" or "The Leader Of The Dogs." The fans sometime refer to him as "Inu-Papa" too.

22. I heard there were Inuyasha games! What are they called, and when were they released?

26. Whats yaoi/yuri?

Yaoi = Guy/Guy action, gay.
Yuri = Girl/Girl action, lesbian.

27. Where can I download the opening themes of Inuyasha with the actual clips?

Adult Swim has finally done a good thing. On their website, they have uploaded all the Inuyasha Openings and Closings so far up to the 4th season. So, for fans who want to watch them, they can be found in the "Other" category of the "Clips" section.

Quick Link: http://www.adultswim.com/clips/other/intros/inuyasha1/index.html

BTW, The talking sequence in the 4th Introduction - "Grip!" Has been dubbed. Its kinda' scary hearing that after-all the years of subtitled watching.. it is still interesting to hear how they play it out though.

28. I've heard weird translations to Kagome's name.. what exactly does it mean?

Most Japanese will first think of a children's game by this name. The game is called 'kagome-kagome'. The players (usually 5 or more) form a circle by holding the hands of adjacent players side by side, except for one player who squats at the center of the circle, covering his closed eyes with his hands. The players forming the circle then start to move, rotating around the center, while singing the following song together:

Kagome Kagome,
Kago no naka no tori wa,
Itsu itsu deyaru?
Yoake to ban ni.
Tsuru to kame ga subetta,
Ushiro no shoumen dare?

Translation:

Kagome, Kagome,
When does the bird inside the
cage comes out?
At dawns and evenings.
Who is in front of the back
where a crane and turtle slipped and fell?

When the song ends, the circle also stops moving. Then the player inside the circle says who is behind him. If his guess is correct, that player can join the circle, exchanging the role with the one behind him. And the process is repeated. The lyrics of this song give a very mysterious impression (some of the words seem meaningless), yet it sounds as if there is a hidden message. Actually, some people interpret that this song is related with the archaic Japanese mythology. After all, what is Kagome? Nobody knows.

29. Why are there so many fillers?

More money. More fans. In Inuyasha's case, it was because the anime was catching up to the manga too fast. They needed to keep the manga/anime a certain amount of time apart.

40. Why are there so many plot-holes in Inuyasha?

Simple question really, because Rumiko Tahakashi created it! And to make it more.. "interesting".

41. Where do the movies fit in with the series?

The movies have no effect of the series. But if you were to get technical..

Where in the series does the first movie fit?

In the first movie, Inuyasha must use a specific attack that he does not gain until episode 54, which also happened to be the last episode aired on Y-TV before the movie hit Japanese theaters in December 2001. So there you go! Episode 54.

Where in the series does the second movie fit?

This movie was meant to fit in a slightly awkward part of the storyline. The Inuyasha gang had just seriously injured Naraku, who had to go into hiding to recover, and they were about to start a long arc in which they are looking for him (some filler, some manga-based episodes)--this arc is the Shichinintai Arc. So the movie has to fit in before that. This would be after episode 95 (the movie aired on TV after this episode). You'll note that in the movie, things are "reset" so that the anime can pick up where it left off, too.

Where in the series does the third movie fit?

The third movie fits in right after episode 136 (the TV station even took a five-week break after episode 136 to make room for the release of the third movie into Japan's theaters).

Where in the series does the fourth movie fit?

Simple explaination for this one; it fits in after episode 167. Why? Because it was released after the TV series already ended!

42. What exactly is Inuyasha?

About the manga.. Inuyasha is one of the most popular anime series to hit TV in years; the action and adventure, as well as romantic frustration, draws viewers in from all countries around the world. But, before the anime, the manga (also known in the USA as a comic) drew in people as well. There is a reason the anime and manga were both so successful: Rumiko Tahakashi. Tahakashi has done various mangas over the past 3 and a half decades. Many of them included that were massively popular are: Inuyasha (started in 1996), Ranma 1/2 (started in 1988), Mermaids Sagas (started in 1984), Maison Ikkoku (started in 1980) and, of course, Urusei Yatsura (started in 1978). It's no wonder that Takahashi has been named the 'Most Successful Artist' in the entire world.

Moving on, Inuyasha was started in 1996 and is still continuing with the massive popularity when it was first released. The reason? Because of how interesting and suspenseful Takahashi can make this series. Of course, some beg to differ on that but that is what I have found to be true throughout the years. Not only does Takahashi leave you hanging on the edge of your seat on what will happen next, she interweaves real problems that some people face and deal with in the real world. There are so many different things going on in the manga that you are left wondering what will happen next in future releases. Love triangles are thrown into the manga as well, giving you a more interesting plot--people have a fascination with the 'love triangle' concept, which in turn, pulls in more readers along with the already-great-plotline.

Now we get to the plot. Your probably wondering, 'What makes this manga so special from others?' Well, first, I'll explain the storyline and then you can decide if its interesting or not. The story starts off with Inuyasha, the main character, getting pinned to an old sacred tree for trying to steal a sacred jewel by a miko named Kikyou. First off, you can tell that its more of a 'feudal' era because of the way the people dress and the scenery presented--old homes, medieval look. Now, Inuyasha is no ordinary person when he gets pinned to the tree by the miko Kikyou---Inuyasha is a hanyou...half human, half dog demon (cute and fuzzy ears with fangs and claws but with a normal 'human' appearance). The miko, Kikyou, didn't really 'pin' him the old sacred tree...she basically sealed him away. With the task of sealing him away Kikyou tells her younger sister, Kaedae, that when she dies she needs to burn the sacred jewel the 'Shikon no Tama', or 'Jewel of Four Souls' with her to destroy it and the evil powers that could possess it. Kaedae, obeying her sisters last request, burns the jewel with her dead sister, Kikyou. This leaves you wondering...why the hell did Kikyou die? We get to that later though ^__^.

Now we fast forward to 500 years in the future (present time) where Kagome Higurashi, the heroine of the story, is having her 15th birthday and she goes to get her cat, Buyou, from inside the family well house. Going down to get the fat cat, a bluish light explodes and she is dragged down by a centipede monster. Being completely freaked at the unfathomable idea of a monster grabbing her and pulling her down into the well, Kagome throws her arms out and a purplish light blasts the centipede monster away. When she lands at the bottom of the well, however, she gets a nasty surprise---she's no longer in her time, she's in the past; 500 years in the past to be exact. Wondering where the hell she is she wanders around the forest and spots a boy pinned to an old tree. Curious, she goes up to him and sees that he has dog ears and on impulse, tweaks them a bit. At that time, villagers come and take her away since she's trespassing into 'Inuyasha Forest'---a forest forbidden for anyone not of the village to enter. Getting to the village, she meets a miko...Kaedae. Kaedae looks at Kagome and finds that she closely resembles her sister, Kikyou, that died 50 years ago. Kaedae, being old and wise, announces that Kagome is Kikyou's reincarnation. Kagome, not knowing what the hell she's talking about just goes about in the village for a few days while trying to understand how to get back to her time. As she is walking though, the centipede monster from before reappears and tries to kill her asking for the 'Shikon no Tama'. Kagome, denying she has the Shikon no Tama, flees and is pursued by the monster. As she approaches Inuyasha Forest, the boy pinned to the tree, Inuyasha, reawakens by the presence of the Shikon no Tama's power. Being thrown by the centipede monster over to the tree that has Inuyasha pinned, she realizes he is indeed alive. When the centipede monster bites into her side, though, a small round jewel is thrown out as well--the Shikon no Tama. Inuyasha, wanting the jewel even after 50 years, tells her to pull out the arrow or else she everyone will be killed by the monster. Not wanting to die in a place she doesn't even know, Kagome grabs the arrow and pulls it out of him. Of course, Kikyou was a miko and only people with miko blood can undo spells and the like.

Finally free from being contained for 50 years, Inuyasha quickly kills the monster and tries to get the Shikon no Tama. Kagome, having picked up the Shikon no Tama from the monsters' remains, is targeted by Inuyasha who's greed for the jewel makes him harsh and cruel in his attempt at getting it back. When he almost gets the jewel, however, Kaedae uses her magic to create a 'subduing necklace' and tells Kagome to utter a subduing word. Confused but eager not to let Inuyasha have the jewel she yells out 'Osuwari!', or 'SIT!' translated in English. Instantly, Inuyasha hits the ground face first and is rendered unable to move for a period of time. The necklace around his neck and Kagome's subduing word, leaves Inuyasha unable to get the Shikon no Tama for the time being since every time he does something bad all Kagome needs to do is say 'Osuwari!' and he's eating dirt for a few minutes. Unfortunately though, evil finds the Shikon no Tama being carried by Kagome and bandits capture her to get the jewel for their evil doing. When Inuyasha arrives to save his 'precious' Shikon no Tama, a bird monster grabs it--which possessed the main leader of the bandits---and both Kagome and Inuyasha try to get it back. Kagome, not being good with archery, shoots an arrow into the air and it hits the bird monster but it hits the Shikon no Tama as well, severing it into hundreds of tiny fragments of its former shape. Inuyasha, being pissed as hell that he has to look for hundreds of tiny fragments all over the world, treats Kagome even more cruelly before. Kagome, being upset that she broke the sacred jewel, decides to travel the world with Inuyasha in search of every fragment. Of course, they have allies and enemies they meet throughout and there is MAJOR love problems later on but I won't get into that in this section. I'll save it for the anime info section.. and thus begins the journey of love, friendship, death, jealously, hardship, evil and sacrifice.

Now, the art of Inuyasha in the manga is similar but different from the anime. The anime is more 'smooth' and the face and body shapes are more rounded whereas in the manga its more pointy. There are MANY differences in the manga that isn't displayed in the anime but that would take forever to write out. I prefer the anime but that's only because I saw the anime first so, naturally, I'm biased towards it. Some may like the manga better though. For me, I'm glad the manga is still running weekly because I can see the story progress faster than the anime is. It will end soon, unfortunately, and the final stretch is near. Questions like: 'Will Inuyasha and Kagome be together or will they separate?' are always asked but the only one that can answer that is Takahashi herself. Lets just hope that she doesn't throw out a 'unsatisfying' ending like she has done with previous works like Ranma 1/2.

About the anime.. The first two characters we are introduced to in the anime is of course Kikyou and Inuyasha. Kikyou is a Miko---or a priestess---that keeps the sacred jewel 'Shikon no Tama' safe from evil. Of course, only one of a pure soul can guard the sacred jewel but, as shown in the anime, Kikyou's soul is anything BUT completely pure. My take on Kikyou is that she IS gentle, kind and caring BUT because of the doubt she holds for demons and humans a like, as well as her dislike for guarding the Shikon no Tama and being refused a normal woman's life, her heart is easily tainted. Because of this she betrays the one she 'supposedly' loves, Inuyasha. Of course, Inuyasha---the dog demon who's trust in humans has never been more than friendly until he met Kikyou---is led to betray Kikyou as well. Both betray each other due to an elaborate plot by a man named Onigumo that had an obsession for Kikyou. Because their love was not 'true' they were both led to betray each other...in other words, they were never meant for one another. Then we introduce Kagome---the cheerful, gentle, kind and more 'fun' personality of the group that accumulates the more the series progresses. Kagome is pulled down the well and immediately pulls the sealing arrow Kikyou placed on Inuyasha more than 50 years before in the time she has been thrust into. Inuyasha of course, is not at all happy that Kagome is the reincarnation of his past lover that betrayed him, Kikyou. His surly attitude towards her in the beginning makes you seriously want to pull his ears off his head. But, despite his even more wary attitude towards humans because of what happened with Kikyou, he still can't help but fall even more in love with Kagome than even he though possible. But of course, like all great anime series, something HAS to come in between the love they share. That 'something' is, of course, Kikyou---revived from her bones and soil by the evil sorceress Urasue. Even though Kikyou is still dead and 'living' only in a shell of her former self, her deep hatred for Inuyasha that she 'stole back' from Kagome's soul lives on and there are many times when Kikyou wants to kill or love him. She's more than indecisive on how she really feels about him which confuses Inuyasha a lot. Inuyasha's love for Kikyou is shown a LOT, but as time passes by and he realizes his love was never really 'true' with Kikyou he starts to lean more towards Kagome. Of course, later on you figure out that Inuyasha still does love Kikyou, but its more of a 'respecting' love---he wants to put things right between them and let her soul rest in peace, even if it means sacrificing his happiness with Kagome. Kagome, though upset a great deal about this, understands him and supports him on the side-lines---the one BIG thing that tips us off on how true her love is for the hanyou Inuyasha. We are later introduced to other characters like the 'lecherous priest', Miroku, who secretly loves the Demon Huntress, Sango. Before them though we are introduced to Shippou, a cute little fox demon that has a strong bond with Kagome---not so much with Inuyasha though since he almost always seems to rub into Inuyasha's face the truth about their 'love triangle' despite his young age.

44. What are the ratings of Inuyasha in Japan?

In the Osaka area the average rating is 14.9 points.
In the Tokyo area the average rating is 13.8 points.

45. What was the day that Inuyasha first started airing in Japan?

October 16th, 2000 was the day it first aired. If you are so curious as to know what time, I think it was 7:00 on YTV.

46. Whats the name of Jaken's staff?

Jintojo is the name of Jaken's two headed staff.

47. Whats the name of Inu-Taishio's sword?

Souunga is the name of Inu-Taishio's sword, which is revealed in Inuyasha Movie 3.

48. Whats are the names of Sesshomaru's swords?

Tenseiga and Toukijin are the names; the first one was given to him by his father, the second was made by a youkai swordsman who went by the name "Kaijinbou".

Little description of Kaijinbou: The evil ex-apprentice of Toutousai, Kaijinbou was commissioned by Sesshoumaru to craft a sword from the teeth of Naraku's third detachment, Goshinki. Why? Because Goshinki had biten through Inuyasha's sword, Tessaiga. The sword ended up possessing Kaijinbou, and he ultimately died because of it. The sword he made was named Toukijin.

49. Do Inuyasha and Kagome ever kiss?

Yes they do in the second movie. Except that has nothing to do with the original series' plot line, so they haven't kissed in the TV series'.. yet. (I'm rooting for them!)

50. Do Sango and Miroku ever kiss?

I'm not sure. It hasn't happened yet.

51. Does Kouga have a girlfriend?

No, Ayame is really only a filler episode, which means she isn't actually part of the real story the creator wrote. But if you count the anime the same with the manga then yes he does have a girlfriend.

52. Is Kirara a girl or boy?

It has been hinted many times Kirara is actually a girl. Kirara's name contains the kanji for "mother" so it's basically "heavenly mother".

53. Why does Kikyou want Inuyasha to die?

At first she wanted Inuyasha to die because of how she thought he killed her. She then tried to pull him in hell with her so they both could live in "peace", which they didn't have the chance to do because of Naraku. After Inuyasha refused her and went for Kagome, she grew bitter and hated Inuyasha for that. If you remember, in the episode that she is revived, she says something like, "I cannot rest in peace if your still alive, Inuyasha!"

54. Where did Miroku get the hole (wind tunnel, kazaana, etc) in his hand from?

Miroku's grandfather heard that there was something wrong with a princess, and went to see what was wrong, and was pulled in by her beauty. But he found out that Naraku was actually disguising himself as a princess. He tried to use paper wards on him, but Naraku blocked it, piercing it through his grandfather's right hand. Until Naraku is gone, that will be passed down from generation to generation.

55. Where is Kagome's father?

He has never been introduced in the anime/manga and most likely won't ever be. He might be away or deceased; but he actually has been mentioned in the series, but only once. In episode 48, "I Want to Go Back to Where We Met" Kagome's mom talks to Kagome about how he proposed to her under the Goshinkonbu.

56. How did Inuyasha's father die?

Inuyasha's father had an arch rival named Ryuukossei who killed him. In their battle, he actually sealed Ryuukossei with his fang, but the wounds he received from the fight caused his death.

57. How old is Rumiko Takahashi?

Rumiko Takahashi was born in 1957, so she's around 47 years old.

58. If Kikyou is so holy, why did she go to hell?

I don't claim to be an expert on Taoism or eastern religion, but I did study it a bit to remember that they believe that the spirit is reincarnated over and over again. The way she lived her life as Kikyou would affect her next life. When she first died, she didn't go to heaven or hell, because she was obviously reincarnated into Kagome. So, the soul of Kikyou would have another chance to redeem itself and protect the Shikon no Tama. When she was revived by Urasei, she took back the soul in Kagome, but when Kagome called it back, Kikyou kept the anger and vengeance inside her, meaning that all the purity that she once held was gone. So, Kikyou wants to go to hell rather than be at the mercy of karma and have the anger and hatred in her define what she will be in the next life. And, of course, she intends to take Inuyasha with her to satisfy both her vengeance and her desire for him.

59. When is Inuyasha's birthday?

Taking in from what I have seen from the 3rd movie from when I was in Japan, there's no exact date given but it's sometime in the winter -- judging by the snow on the ground.

60. Why does everyone call Kagome "Gewei" in the Japanese version?

Some of the DVDs that you find on Ebay were translated in Hong Kong (where it is legal to do this). Gewei is the Chinese version of Kagome's name. They change several of the characters names in those translations for some reason (including the names of the members of the Shichinintai). It is not an official translation.

61. Was Kirara Midoriko's partner?

(Referring to episode 26): Yes. Hundreds of years ago, Kirara was the loyal pet demon of the priestess Midoriko. In the episode where Inuyasha and Co. went to the cave where Midoriko was, Kirara was looking at her statue and remembered the time when she was with her.

62. What involvement does Rumiko Takahashi have with the "filler" episodes and the movies?

She writes the basic plots of the movies/stories, and sometimes ellaborates on filler episodes. But they always need her approval.

63. What is Inuyasha's last name?

Well to be exact, only wealthy people had surnames in Japan, the elite and nobility. Demons don't have surnames, it is purely a human thing. And if you just wanted a quick answer -- Rumiko didn't give him one.

64. Why are characters in the movies drawn differently from the TV series?

When an anime is produced, an animator called Character Designer or Character Design first designs characters in the anime to draw a typical drawing. Animators draw and paint the characters with following the typical drawing in order to prevent the character drawing get changed in the anime. In case that the character designer is different, even though an anime is based on the same manga (comics), the character drawing becomes distinct. The character design of InuYasha differs between the TV series and the movies: that of the TV series is Yoshihito Hishinuma; that of the movies is Hideyuki Motohasi. Hishinuma designed the character on the basis of character drawings on around Manga Vol 10, although Motohasi did on the basis of them on around Vol. 20. The reason why the movie producers and director made a decision to select the different character designer is unexplained. But considering that the character drawing in the movies is more closely to the manga than that in the TV series, it is due probably to that the producers and the director of the movies tried to make the mood of the movies changed from that of the TV series.

65. What do the director and other members of the staff produce after the end of Inuyasha TV series?

The director Yasunao Aoki and the main staff (animators, scenario creators, sound directors, etc) of Inuyasha TV series have produced a brand new TV anime series Yakitake Japan (http://www.yakitate-japan.com) that starts to air on TV Tokyo Network this October.

66. What episodes are fillers?

After have gotten this question many times, I've decided to make a list.

Full filler episodes:

59, 63-65, 68, 72, 75-79, 87, 89-101, 127-130, 133-140, 147-148, 162-163.

Altered 'normal' episodes; half with the manga storyline, half filler:

11, 26, 35, 57-58, 62, 82-84, 102, 122, 142, 165.

67. There is an Inuyasha OVA?

..there are no OVA/OAV's at this time. Please keep those comments to yourself until you see offical proof. Not rumors, not what fans say, but OFFICAL proof.

67b. Will the 2nd TV series of Inuyasha air? Will there be one?

Tsujitani (a voice actor playing Miroku) answered this question at his website (http://www.ocv.ne.jp/~cozy/qa.html) on the 9th of November. According to his answer, it is possibly that the second series is produced while it takes time.

Question on site: It is very sad that InuYasha TV series has ended. I was wondering if its second series would be scheduled to air?

Answer from him: It seems to me that the production side (Yomiuri TV, SUNRISE, Shogakukan) bears the second series in mind though it has NOT been confirmed at all. I guess, for example, it does when the story in the manga series goes up to that the perspective of the end of the manga series becomes clear. It may take two or three years. I think that it depends on a situation at that time. Obviously, there is also a possibility that the second series isn't made. I can't say for sure at present. Please wait patiently.

68. Who is a part of the Staff of Inuyasha?

Project Plan by Michihiko Suwa/Masuo Ueda.
Original Story by Rumiko Takahashi.
Series Coordinator: Katsuyuki Sumisawa.
Character Design: Yoshihito Hishinuma.
Art Director: Shigemi Ikeda.
Director of Photography: Kumiko Ito.

Concept Assistance: Shinichiro Tsuzuki/Shinichi Mikami/Masanao Murakami/Takashi Kumagae.
Director: Yasunao Aoki.

Production by Yomiuri TV/Sunrise.

69. I heard about the release of a best album, is that true?

A two-disc compilation of the best BGM from the TV series and movies will be released on March 16th. From December 24th to January 9th, there will be a survey held where people can vote for which tracks they want on the CD. And this came specifically from http://www.kaoru-wada.com/ -- Kaoru Wada's official site. She composes the albums, if you didn't already know.

70. When is the next Inuyasha game coming out?

A "Competitive Fighting Game" for the PS2 has been announced for release in Japan next summer. No further details such as titles or playable characters have been announced.

I wouldn't kill a kikyou thread unless someone went around spamming, "OH! KIKYOU I LOVE HER!"

BTW, I kinda' like Kikyou now after watching the IY special.

I find it surprising that you actually like Kikyo now Shaina, especially after all the Kikyo-hating I've seen you do.  I hate Kikyo also, but that's just mainly hate at Kikyo's undead rebirth, that's just a twisted version of her. She wasn't bad before she died the first time. She's just a misunderstood dead woman, that's all

EDIT: BTW, I need to watch that special...and curse you for being able to understand Japanese...I'm jealous. BLAST! Evil or Very Mad
